Up arrow/Shift: expend element
Down arrow: siphon element
R: restart level
Space: Klick the pen (I like K deal with it)

Story:

An evil chemist is conducting a wild experiment in his underground laboratory. Realizing he needs a pen for the experiment, he starts searching for the pen in the laboratory. The already chemically augmented pen, hearing this, becomes scared for it's life and has to escape the laboratory!
